A quick fast paced story to give us a little more insight into Sadie's family and why someone is still trying to kill her. Beatrice, her spunky neighbor and card playing friends play a big role in this story too. (gotta love them!) Sadie and Sebastian spend a little more time together and nothing Sadie does, stops Sebastian from proving his love for her. He seems to sense when she is in danger and even though she insists she doesn't need him, she does! Together, they make a great team even though her boss is trying to keep them apart. Little Cassanova has a tough time in this story too, but no spoilers here. This story takes place in current times with a drone attack. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series .Product details

When I opened Lovin’ Danger, I gave myself permission to relax and take the time to read a good book. Thank goodness, since I found it difficult to put my kindle down. Sleep be damned! From the beginning where our heroine is attacked by a drone to the sexy sections with her lover, I needed to find out what happened to gutsy Sadie Stewart and both of the important men in her life. The thrills of the chase, the pounding action and the constant conflicts all added up to me thoroughly enjoying this Volume 4 of the Mat Hari Series.

Lovin' Danger is a novella based in the Mata Hari series universe. I definitely enjoyed this story. I'm typically only a novel reader, so the shortness of the story itself seemed a little brief to me. That said, the plot is fast-paced and the characters are fascinating. Seldom can you find an international setting, a spy hiding her identity by being a model, and a stunningly gorgeous hero outside of a James Bond movie. The action is the main impetus, but the cast of characters and the steamy sex scenes are also fun.
If you're looking for action, intrigue and hot love scenes, this is the story for you.
Jo-Ann Carson's Mata Hari series is highly addictive! I've really enjoyed her fourth thriller suspense, Lovin'Danger, and left me wanting to know what will happen next to heroine Sadie. I simply cannot wait to read the fifth story, Till Danger Do us Part.
It's very fast paced and filled with action, danger and of course romance.
Again, we follow, Sadie Stewart, model by day, spy by night and her Dutch lover, Sebastian Wilde, a rich art dealer. The chemistry between the two is HOT! I loved the bedroom scene when Sadie leaves Sebastian...oh no, I won't tell...Still craving her independence, Sadie is again on a dangerous mission, but when she gets kidnapped, Sebastian, will try to rescue her. Her boss is still meddling in her life, and wishing she would leave Sebastian. Can their love survive in the dangerous world of espionage? Does, she still want to live an action-packed life or settle down with her protector?
We once again meet up with Sadie Stewart and Sebastian Wilde in this fast paced novella.
Sadie's world is spinning out of control. Her boss, Jeremiah Cole, has told her she needs to cut Sebastian lose. She finds evidence her great aunt was a spy. KOTL has made another attempt on her life. Her dog is poisoned. What is a girl to do when her man is away and she is all alone?
Sebastian, the art dealer with the deep blue eyes and the body of a Norse God just wants Sadie by his side, but not necessarily handcuffed to her bed. The chemistry between them pops off the page. Sebastian is the protector, but finds himself on the other side when he returns to help Sadie and they are both taken, but working together they quickly defeat the enemy.
If you like the action and suspense of a James Bond movie, then this series and book are for you. Jo-Ann Carson is a master at keeping you intrigued with her stories from page one. She serves up a healthy dose of smart, sexy suspense. Highly recommend.

This book began with a bang! and kept me on the edge of my seat until finished. I fell in love with Sadie, Cole, and Sebastian and who could forget the adorable pooch. Jo-Ann Carson definitely weaves a tale full of suspense and intrigue.
When a killer drone targets Sadie Stewart we're pulled back into her world of international model and CIA operative. She knows someone wants her dead, but why? Leonidas Krikos IV would rather switch from murder to blackmail but he's running out of time. Sebastian, Sadie's gorgeous Dutch Viking flies to her rescue and their love scenes go from tender to torrid in moments. Casanova, a loving Labradoodle puppy and Beatrice, a peppermint munching neighbor add to the fun of this sexy romp, reminiscent of James Bond.
